Does this injection relieve pain in the joint where there is no cartlige, just bone on bone. My husband's heart is too weak for the surgery. What options are there when this is the case. Thank you.

Hi there<br /><br />Yes - I&#39;m pretty certain that hydrodistension is available in the USA.<br />Some hospitals will use other words to describe the technique but the procedure and benefits are the same.<br /><br />You might hear it described as therapeutic arthrogram, distension arthrogram or therapeutic distension of the shoulder.<br /><br />I hope that helps<br /><br />Good luck.
